Cloisters unites with key family rights groups to raise awareness on shared parental leave and pay

by Claire McCann

Cloisters has joined Your Employment Settlement Service(YESS) Law, Maternity Action and Working Families to produce and disseminate vital information on the complex rights associated with shared parental leave which may be taken in respect of babies due to be born on or after 5 April 2015.

The shared parental leave regime is complicated and tricky to understand.  The alliance of Cloisters with these key family rights organisations is called SPLash and we will be producing factsheets and blogs to help increase awareness and understanding for parents and employers on shared parental leave and pay.

The first blog, “Shared parental leave (SPL)\; Nuts and bolts and top tips” can be read here.”
