Disability in the Legal Professions

Tuesday 27 February, 6.30pm, 39 Essex Chambers, 81 Chancery Lane London

Diversity in the legal professions is often discussed and debated. The deliberations of race, gender and social class equality, however, often omit disability. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness of the steps needed to ensure that disabled people can access the professions.

Cloister's John Horan will host the event. John will also deliver a talk entitled Disabled Barristers: Are You Stroppy?

Other speakers include, Jocelyn Cockburn (Hodge Jones & Allen), Joshua Hepple (Activist and Disability Equality Trainer) and Diego Soto-Miranda (1 Essex Court).

This event is free and open to all and we would be tremendously grateful if details could be circulated amongst your students, colleagues and networks.
