Cloisters' Brian Napier QC asked to join employment tribunal review working party

28 November 2011

Leading employment barrister Brian Napier QC has been asked by Mr Justice Underhill to join the working group reviewing the rules of procedure for employment tribunals.

The working group has been set up by Business Secretary Vince Cable. The Government announced last week that it was commissioning a fundamental review of the current rules of procedure for employment tribunals.

Mr Justice Underhill is the outgoing president of the Employment Appeal Tribunal. He will be succeeded by former Cloisters' co-Head of Chambers Brian Langstaff.

The review will start this month and finish in April 2012.
