Cloisters congratulates Catriona Stirling on her appointment

Head of Cloisters, Robin Allen QC, has congratulated Catriona Stirling on her appointment as Judicial Assistant to Lord Justice Mummery at the Court of Appeal for the Michaelmas and Hilary legal terms. 

The appointment will run from 3 October to 21 December 2011 and 11 January to 4 April 2012.

Robin Allen QC, speaking on behalf of Cloisters, said: "It is widely recognised that a period as a Judicial Assistant is of great benefit to a candidate and his or her chambers in depth of understanding of the appellate process and the law. This is a great opportunity for Catriona and one which I am sure she will undertake with great skill." 

Catriona joined Cloisters in 2010 upon successful completion of her pupillage. She specialises in employment, equality and human rights, personal injury and clinical negligence. 

Before coming to the Bar in 2008, Catriona spent three years working for Deloitte LLP, during which she qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
