Cloisters congratulates Mr Justice Langstaff on new appointment

Head of Cloisters Robin Allen QC has congratulated  Mr Justice Langstaff on behalf of Cloisters on his new appointment as President of the Employment Appeal Tribunal. 

Brian Langstaff was formerly a co Head of Chambers at Cloisters between 2002 and 2005 before becoming a judge of the High Court of Justice (Queen's Bench Division) in 2005.

"We congratulate Mr Justice Langstaff on his appointment as President of the Employment Appeal Tribunal.  We are delighted to see our distinguished former colleague take on this challenging role at the heart of employment law." 

The Honourable Mr Justice Underhill currently heads up the EAT. His term of office will come to an end on 31 December 2011 when he will be succeeded by Mr Justice Langstaff.
