'Problem issues and problem clients' seminar from Cloisters

This week Cloisters' personal injury and clinical negligence experts gave a seminar on Problem issues and problem clients: How to win the case when the client isn’t straightforward.

The seminar delivered my Lisa Sullivan and Martyn McLeish provide practical and current advice on common "problem cases", including clients alleged to have committed fraud, have criminal records, have evaded tax, or are otherwise dishonest or malingering; what to do about surveillance evidence and costs consequences; how to quantify the claim when the client's 'lifestyle choices' such as alcoholism, obesity, and drug dependency have an impact on the client's ability to work; and the effect of pre-existing conditions on Ogden 6 calculations.
