Andrew commenced pupillage at Cloisters in September 2018.

Andrew is a third six pupil currently supervised by Joel Donovan QC and Declan O'Dempsey. He is willing to accept instructions in all of chambers' areas of practice.

He has a keen interest in discrimination matters, particularly disability discrimination, having previously worked in policy and campaigns for both Mind and the National Autistic Society.

Andrew has a significant amount of advocacy experience, having appeared in a range of hearings in both the county court and employment tribunal. He has experience of a full range of employment disputes, covering issues of unfair dismissal and discrimination, but also complex questions of state immunity.

Prior to pupillage, Andrew was a volunteer for the Free Representation Unit, and appeared in multiple hearings, including multi-day discrimination claims. He also acted as a solicitor's agent, appearing in the county courts in a range of civil matters.
