Cloisters Chambers partners with a new Sky documentary revealing the untold story of Afro hair on film sets

Cloisters Chambers is proud to announce it’s partnership with Good Girl Productions on the groundbreaking new documentary; Untold Stories: Hair on Set.

Untold Stories: Hair on Set, explores the lack of knowledge in the British entertainment industry about how to style and care for Afro/curly hair and the emotional impact this has on everyone involved. In this powerful documentary, rising Hollywood star Fola Evans-Akingbola paints an intimate picture of how something as superficial as hair quickly uncovers a whole story about what it means to be different in your place of work.

Speaking for the first time on camera about their hidden struggles, a cast of British stars including, Naomie Harris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jessica Plummer and Naomi Ackie reveal their hair stories to Fola.

Untold Stories: Hair on Set premieres on Sky Documentaries as part of Sky’s Black History Month series of films and documentaries exploring Black culture, at 8pm on Sunday 1st October.
