Support our walkers striding and striving for free legal advice

For the poorest and most vulnerable people in our community, access to justice is often out of reach. Free legal advice makes a huge difference to their lives.

That’s why a team of Cloisters barristers will literally be going the extra mile on Monday 19th May. They’ll be taking part in the London legal Walk 2014 to raise much-needed funds  for the London Legal Support Trust. The London Legal Support Trust is an independent charity that raises funds for free legal advice services in London and the South East. They provide specialist legal advice through law centres, advice agencies and citizens advice bureaux.

Rachel Barrett, the organiser of the Cloisters team commented: “We’re raising funds for the London Legal Support Trust, the Free Representation Unit and the Bar Pro Bono Unit. We know that these agencies do a fantastic job in preventing homelessness, resolving debt problems, gaining care for the elderly and disabled and fighting exploitation. So please support  this worthy cause by making a donation here.

We wish our team of Jacques Algazy QC, Joel Donovan QC, Chris Milsom, Sally Robertson, Olivia Dobbie, Chesca Lord, Rachel Barrett, Rajiv Bhatt and Jen Danvers the best of luck.
