Cloisters advice on Covid-19 whistleblowing protection

The Covid-19 pandemic has placed unprecedented demands on workers in both the public and private sector, some of which may require them to compromise their own personal safety. Yet there are reports that many people on the frontline are being discouraged from voicing concerns.

Schona Jolly QC and Dee Masters were jointly instructed by The Good Law Project to provide legal advice on the protections available to whistleblowers. The full advice includes case studies that examine the protections available to NHS managers concerned about a lack of PPE, warehouse staff working in unsafe conditions, and a scientific advisor to Government.
