On 5 May 2020, the TUC released a video of an interview between Mary Towers (Employment Rights Policy Officer), Robin Allen QC and Dee Masters entitled “Employment rights after coronavirus – technology at work”.  Robin and Dee are specialists in the interplay between AI, equality law and data protection.  In the interview they discuss the expansion of AI into the working environment following the Covid-19 pandemic with particular emphasis on facial recognition technology, voice recognition technology and management by algorithm.  For more information about these areas, Robin and Dee are the co-founders of a resource at www.ai-lawhub.com which is dedicated to these topics.
