Sheryn Omeri discusses concerning trends in Female FTSE Board Report 2019

Cloisters’ Sheryn Omeri was recently interviewed by LexisNexis on the release of the Financial Reporting Council’s Female FTSE Board Report 2019.

Sheryn commented that the Report highlights two particularly troubling matters: that despite women entering the profession in equal numbers to men, the number of women holding the role of executive (as opposed to non-executive) director remains low and the tenure of women appointed to Boards of FTSE100 and FTSE250 companies is half that of their male counterparts.
