Rachel Crasnow QC advises on remote voting in Parliament

Rachel Crasnow QC has advised Margaret Hodge MP on Parliament’s attempt to end remote voting from home and require  MPs to take part in physical voting in Westminster even if this means a long journey to London with the possibility of an overnight stay. The Commons is due to vote on this issue on Tuesday 2  June.   On Friday the all-party House of Commons procedure committee recommended that the remote voting system should be allowed to continue, to protect the ability of MPs who are self-isolating, shielding, or otherwise vulnerable to represent constituents.

The matter is further reported in the Observer.
