Sally Robertson to deliver sex discrimination workshop at ERA’s EU Gender Equality Law seminar

Between 4-5 May, Sally Robertson becomes the latest of Cloisters' barristers to take part in the Academy of European Law’s (ERA) programme of conferences and training events. Now in its 25th Jubilee year, more than 125,000 European jurists have participated at ERA events. Cloisters barristers, including Paul Epstein QC, Rachel Crasnow QC, Catherine Casserley and Declan O’Dempsey and others, have contributed to helping shape what ERA describe as “a veritable European community of legal practitioners.”

At the ERA’s EU Gender Equality Law seminar held in Trier, Germany, Sally Robertson will deliver a lecture on the key concepts of European Discrimination Law, followed by a case study workshop on sex discrimination.

The seminar will provide delegates the opportunity to receive an overview of the EU gender equality legislation as described by the Court of Justice of the European Union. It will explore key topics such as Direct/Indirect Discrimination, Burden of proof, Equal Pay and many others.
