Akua Reindorf KC to give talk at LSE on Academic Freedom and Freedom from Harassment in Universities

Akua Reindorf KC will be speaking at the launch event of The London Universities' Council for Academic Freedom, a new academic-led and non-partisan organisation which aims to support academic freedom at London universities and beyond.

Akua will discuss the new Higher Education (Freedom of Speech) Act and its interaction with the Equality Act, and will consider how it is likely to affect the fraught environment in some UK universities.

The event is open to all and takes place on 20 November 2023 at the London School for Economics.
