Meghna began pupillage in October 2026 and is interested in all areas of Chambers’ work.
Before coming to the Bar, Meghna worked as a dual-qualified US associate and solicitor of England and Wales for an international law firm. She represented clients in employment discrimination, sexual assault, and personal injury cases on both sides of the Atlantic, addressing complex issues such as the intersection of human trafficking laws and religious freedoms, and the protections afforded by the U.S. Constitution to child and adult abuse victims.
Meghna has appeared before state and federal courts in the US, drafting motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, and motions concerning disclosure and jurisdiction, at both first instance and appellate level.
Meghna has commercial law experience, having worked as a US associate in Equity and Debt Capital Markets for a Magic Circle firm. She also has experience in international human rights law, having previously interned at Reprieve in London, the Center for Justice and Accountability in San Francisco and the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative in New Delhi.

Meghna holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Stanford, an MSc from Oxford University (Distinction), and a BA (Honours) from Amherst College.
She is admitted to practice in New York and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Meghna speaks English, conversational Hindi and basic Tamil and Spanish.
