Andrew began pupillage in October 2026 and is interested in all areas of Chambers' work.
Before coming to the Bar, Andrew was a Law Reform Lawyer at the Law Commission of England and Wales, leading work on a number of projects reforming the law applying to burial and cremation, new funerary methods, and funeral disputes. He joined the Commission as a Research Assistant working on reform of surrogacy law.
Prior to his legal career Andrew spent six years in social research, policy and advocacy at gender equality charity The Fawcett Society, latterly as its Policy, Research and Public Affairs Manager. He worked on Fawcett's influential Sex Discrimination Law Review, the drafting of proposed reforms to equal pay law, and a range of other issues from gender stereotyping in early childhood to women's political representation. His work there followed policy roles in Parliament and local government. -
