  • Danielle’s practice spans employment, discrimination, personal injury, and clinical negligence. She has a burgeoning practice consisting of both advisory and advocacy work.

    Danielle merges her academic expertise with a practical grasp of the complexities of litigation. This combination ensures she is highly perceptive and persuasive in court. She is empathetic and personable with clients, who range from vulnerable workers to large corporations. Danielle is confident in achieving the best outcome for clients at all stages of proceedings, including the preliminary stages, in negotiations, and at trial.

    Danielle worked for trade unions for several years before joining Cloisters.  She advised and represented members in Employment Tribunal proceedings. Members were primarily precarious and migrant workers. Danielle remains undaunted by cases involving complex and sensitive issues, such as employment status and illegality.

    Alongside her practice, Danielle is completing her doctoral research in employment law at UCL Laws. She is the Assistant Editor of the UK Labour Law Blog and Head of Equality Law at the Law Corner.

    Recent instructions include:

    • Obtaining anonymity for a group of Claimants on Article 8 ECHR grounds in the Employment Tribunal

    • Appearing in the EAT in a complex appeal regarding belief discrimination, led by Chris Milsom (judgment reserved)

    • Obtaining strike out for a Respondent on the grounds of no reasonable prospects of success in the Employment Tribunal

    • Representing a Claimant in a seven-day equal pay trial in the Employment Tribunal (judgment reserved)

    • Obtaining anonymity for a group of Claimants Article 8 ECHR grounds in the Employment Tribunal
