Cloisters Members Speaking at the ELA Annual Conference 2026

Cloisters Chambers is pleased to be represented at today’s Employment Lawyers Association Annual Conference in London, with three members of Chambers speaking across key sessions examining some of the most significant developments in employment law and workplace regulation.

Sarah Fraser Butlin KC is speaking this morning on proposals for reform of the Employment Dispute Resolution and Tribunal System, in a panel chaired by Caspar Glyn KC in his capacity as ELA Chair.

Paul Epstein KC and Daphne Romney KC are speaking on practical considerations surrounding the new rules on gender, race and disability reporting, and the impact these developments may have on future litigation and employer obligations under the Employment Rights Act 2025.

Emma Darlow Stearn joins a panel discussing the legal landscape following the Supreme Court’s decision in For Women Scotland, exploring the implications for employers, workplace facilities, and the rights of individuals.

The ELA Annual Conference remains one of the leading events in the employment law calendar, bringing together practitioners, judges and industry leaders to discuss the evolving workplace landscape and the future direction of employment law.

We are delighted to see Cloisters members contributing to these important discussions.
