The Post-ERA Guide to Industrial Relations: new webinar series
Cloisters is pleased to launch The Post-ERA Guide to Industrial Relations, a new two-part webinar series presented by Rebecca Tuck KC and Sarah Fraser Butlin KC
Industrial relations may be an area that has never touched your practice. But soon it will.
Changes introduced by the Employment Rights Act mean that trade unions are set to become increasingly active in the workplace, with more employers and their advisers likely to encounter union access, recognition and related issues.
Drawing on their extensive experience acting for both employers and trade unions, Sarah and Rebecca will provide an essential guide to the key issues and what the changing industrial relations landscape means in practice.
22 September 2026 – Access All Areas
What are union access agreements? Who can request them, when, and how should employers respond? Sarah and Rebecca will consider the issues from both the employer and union perspective and what practitioners need to know as more businesses begin dealing with trade unions.
29 September 2026 – From Union Access Agreements to… What Next?
What might happen after an access agreement? The second webinar will work through the fundamentals of recognition processes, consider the changes introduced by the Employment Rights Act and touch on industrial action.
Both webinars will take place online from 12:00pm to 12:45pm and are free to attend.
Attendees are welcome to register for either session individually or join us for the full series.
